Modern Slavery Statement.
“Supply chains, in the open.”
About this statement
Filed annually under Canada's S-211.
The Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act (Canada, in force January 1, 2024) requires qualifying entities to file an annual statement describing the steps they have taken to prevent and reduce the risk of forced labour or child labour in their operations and supply chain. The statement below summarises Majestic Gold's approach; the filed PDF for each reporting year is available in the archive.
Structure & supply chain
Majestic Gold Corp. is a Canadian reporting issuer that mines and sells gold through its operating subsidiary in Shandong Province, China. Our material supply chain inputs are mining consumables, processing reagents, equipment, and contracted labour.
Policies & governance
Our Code of Business Conduct, supplier expectations, and whistleblower policy explicitly prohibit forced and child labour. Compliance is overseen by senior management and reported to the Board.
Due diligence
Suppliers and contractors at the Songjiagou operation are screened against local labour-law compliance, age verification, and wage-and-hour requirements. Mine-site contractor compliance is reviewed periodically.
Training & remediation
Site supervisors and procurement personnel receive periodic briefings on forced and child labour risk indicators. No instances of forced or child labour have been identified in the reporting period.
